SEATTLE MARINERS
My time with the Seattle Mariners gave me the opportunity to work inside a Major League organization where speed, consistency, and attention to detail mattered every single day. I contributed across production and post-production workflows while helping create content built to match the emotional scale and history of baseball in Seattle. The environment pushed me to think beyond individual videos and understand how daily creative decisions contribute to the larger perception of a sports brand. Working in professional baseball strengthened my ability to execute at a high level while collaborating across departments in one of the most demanding content ecosystems in sports.
MARINERS 2022 PLAYOFF TRAILER
This hype video captured the emotion and significance of the Mariners’ return to the postseason after breaking a 21-year playoff drought, the longest in North American professional sports at the time. Built from season-long highlight footage, a scripted sit-down interview with Mitch Haniger, and carefully selected media audio from throughout the year, the piece framed the playoff berth as both a historic breakthrough and the payoff of a resilient season. I served as the lead editor, shaping the final story, pacing, and emotional arc of the project.
INSIDE THE 2021 MLB DRAFT
This long-form feature gave Mariners fans a rare look inside the organization’s 2021 MLB Draft process, highlighting how the Baseball Operations team evaluated, debated, and selected the next wave of homegrown talent. As one of the main videographers on the project, I spent three days embedded in the draft room capturing behind-the-scenes coverage, conducting interviews with high-level executives, and organizing footage for the edit. This Emmy-nominated piece helped connect fans to one of the most important pillars of the organization's recent success: building a sustainable contender through player development and a consistently top-ranked farm system.
MARINERS PLAYOFF CLINCH RECAP
This project captured one of the most iconic nights in Seattle Mariners history, when the team clinched its first postseason berth on Cal Raleigh’s dramatic walk-off home run. Our production team took a highly strategic approach to documenting the night from every angle by blending pregame atmosphere, in-game highlights, the walk-off moment, and the emotional celebration that followed to make fans feel like the milestone belonged to them as much as the team. I served as a videographer for the night’s coverage and lead editor on the project, turning around the final piece in less than 12 hours.
RALLY KID MAGIC
This feature told the story of Peyton, the Mariners’ viral “Rally Kid,” whose on-screen dancing energized T-Mobile Park and helped spark a comeback victory during the 2021 season. After the moment took off online, our production and digital teams invited Peyton back for a special ballpark experience that included batting practice, a clubhouse tour, and the chance to meet players and coaches, turning a spontaneous fan moment into a deeper story about the magic of coming to a game. I worked the original night helping manage social coverage while capturing photo and video of the viral moment, then served as the lead videographer and editor of Peyton's story.
SCOTT SERVAIS THANKS THE FANS
This Thanksgiving video was created to thank Mariners fans after a memorable 2021 season that brought renewed energy and connection back to the ballpark. Built around a scripted message from then-manager Scott Servais, the piece paired his reflections on the season with fan photos, practical set design, and highlight footage from some of the year’s biggest moments to show appreciation while building anticipation for 2022. I assisted with the set design and script development, and served as the main shooter and lead editor, helping shape the final message, visual presentation, and emotional tone of the piece.
